What information do we collect?

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, selected area of interest and the message you provide. Your business name is optional.

Turnstile may process technical browser, device, network and interaction signals needed to identify automated abuse. The website does not intentionally collect special-category data through the form.

Please do not submit customer records, passwords, payment information, health information or other sensitive personal data.

Why do we use it?

We use enquiry information to read and respond to your request, understand the business problem you describe, assess whether an OPPAUSE service may be relevant and keep a limited record of the conversation.

If you enquire in your own capacity, including as a sole trader, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you contact us for a company or another organisation, we rely on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in receiving, evaluating and responding to genuine business enquiries.

We also rely on legitimate interests to secure the form, prevent misuse, maintain service reliability and establish or defend legal claims. We limit this processing to what is necessary and balance it against your rights and reasonable expectations.

Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list. We do not use the enquiry form to send promotional email.

Do you have to provide it?

You are not legally required to contact us. If you choose to use the form, we need your name, email address, selected area and a short description of the problem so that we can understand and respond to the enquiry. Without those details, we may be unable to reply. Business name is optional.

Who receives the information?

Access is limited to the person responsible for OPPAUSE enquiries and service providers needed to operate, protect and deliver the website and form:

• Cloudflare — website hosting infrastructure, Turnstile abuse protection and Web Analytics;
• Resend / Plus Five Five, Inc. — transmission of the enquiry email; and
• Zoho — hosting of the receiving operations mailbox.

We do not sell enquiry information.

Is information processed outside the EEA?

Zoho processes service data within its group and with service providers in the EEA and other countries. Zoho states that applicable international transfers are covered by appropriate data protection agreements, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Resend processes customer data in the United States and uses the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer safeguards.

Cloudflare operates a global network and may process limited technical or service data outside the EEA. Its contractual safeguards include the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures where applicable. Provider subprocessors may also be involved under their published contractual terms.

You may ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your personal data.

How long do we keep it?

If an enquiry does not become a client engagement, we keep the correspondence for no longer than 12 months after the last meaningful contact and delete it earlier when it is no longer reasonably needed.

If the enquiry becomes a client engagement, necessary information moves into the relevant client, contract, accounting and legal records and follows the retention periods applicable to those records.

The website does not store form content in a separate application database. Resend retains email and log data for 30 days on the current service plan; provider backups may persist for a limited additional period. Security and network records follow the provider’s contractual retention criteria.

What can you ask us to do?

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. If you object, we will stop that processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need the information for legal claims.

Send your request to operations@oppause.com. We normally respond within one month. We may extend this by up to two further months for a complex request, but we will explain the extension within the first month. We request identity evidence only when we have reasonable doubts and only to the extent necessary.

Do we make automated decisions about you?

No decision about service eligibility is made solely by automated means. Turnstile and server-side controls may reject a submission that appears automated or unsafe, but this is a security decision about the request, not profiling or a commercial decision about you.

What is stored on your device?

The current site does not use advertising or remarketing tags. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured for aggregate traffic and performance measurement. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or local storage, fingerprint visitors, record query strings, or collect or use visitor personal data.

As with an ordinary network request, your IP address may be technically transmitted to Cloudflare when the analytics beacon or Turnstile loads. OPPAUSE does not store the IP address as part of your enquiry or send form contents as analytics events.

Turnstile is used only to protect the form from automated abuse. When it loads, Cloudflare stores a third-party Local Storage item named cf.turnstile.u under challenges.cloudflare.com to maintain security and challenge state. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store or transmit form entries or other page inputs. Our technical inspection found no OPPAUSE first-party Local Storage, Session Storage, IndexedDB or cookies.

We treat this Turnstile storage as strictly necessary to provide the secure enquiry form and therefore do not ask for consent before it operates. If the site later adds advertising, remarketing or another technology that requires consent, it will not be activated before an appropriate consent mechanism and updated notice are in place.

How will this notice change?
